The Summer Countdown begins....


Well for me I'm really excited for summer to come! With the coming of summer entails new adventures, vacation spots, and weddings, oh the love. But before it arrives, ladies we have to get that body right. That's exactly what mindset I'm currently in. 

It wasn't always easy to discipline myself to eat healthy foods and exercise, with me loving Caribbean cuisine and always not exercising too much to keep my hair fresh. But now I put all those excuses aside and researched a fitness plan that's right for me. 

Its not exactly laid out on paper yet but I've already eliminated starchy foods like pasta and rice from my diet. Walking also helps if your not exactly a runner, just by simply moving your body burns calories. Try walking 30 minutes 3-5 times a week.  

Also I like to find inspiration and aspiration in certain things and people. I have a vision board for all the other career and family-oriented things I want later in life and  now I have one for my health. One of the fitness bodies I admire right now is Mel B from the British girl band the "Spice Girls" also known as Scary Spice. Her body is insane and a fitness dream. This additionally motivates me to the place I am garnering to achieve.
